Your Thoughts

The management team at Burton Albion has stayed the same for a number of years, the current crop has brought the club from the lower leagues up to the top group of teams of the Conference.

They are:

Assistant Manager

Gary Crosby
Age: 43
Height: 5"8
Previous Clubs: Lincoln, Nottingham Forest

Gary Crosby is really hard to sum up. He is the other half of Nigel Clough as Assistant Manager at the club, and all he seems to do it shout pointlessly at his less favourable players. It has been known that he disrupts team affairs and drains the morale of the team with his pointless outbursts. Many supporters at the club feel that Gary now has no role to play after Nigel Clough stopped playing in important fixtures.

First Team Coach

Andy Garner
Age: 40
Height: 6"0
Previous Clubs: Derby, Blackpool, Gresley

A club legend, Andy Garner has served the club as player, coach and manager in his 10 years at the club. After joining from local rivals Gresley, Andy played a number of games for the club, scoring over 50 goals in his short playing career. Andy played his last and final game for the club as a subsitute last season. After Gary Crosby's return, many question what Garners role at the club now is.

Club Physio

Matt Brown
Age: 40
Joined Club: 1992

Matt Brown is the club physio and has been since 1992, clocking up over 800 appearances, he is a club legend. Although what you would call "chunky", Matt offers an invaluable service to the team, and although he gets some familiar chants from away fans, and occasionally the home support, he gets his job done with little fuss in an appropriate manner.
